ABOUT

Hailing from Long Beach, California, LMNO has emerged as one of the most prolific artists in music today. Introduced to hip-hop in the early ‘80s, LMNO was a firsthand witness to the N.W.A legacy and birth of west coast hip-hop. Appearing in the D.O.C.'s "Formula" video with Dr. Dre & Eazy E, LMNO got his first taste of the music industry in 1989. His career took off with work on various projects, including his debut on the Circle of Power (of Blak Forest) album and infamous feature on Key-Kool & Rhettmatic's "E=MC5," a posse cut also featuring Ras Kass, Voodu, & Mean Green.

With Visionaries, one of L.A.’s most prominent underground groups, LMNO began honing his craft. Lending his voice and views on Visionaries’ four albums, he has become a lyricist to be reckoned with. LMNO’s solo efforts gave his audiences further insight to his witty, spiritual style. His debut solo album Leave My Name Out (Battle Axe Records) includes his popular singles, “Grin and Bear It” and “Radiant.”

Over the past decade LMNO has also released four more acclaimed solo albums, as well as a collaboration with famed producer Kev Brown. The partnership released Selective Hearing (Up Above Records), earning the duo early Grammy nods in 2008. LMNO continues his daily grind at the studio, having added to his impressive catalog over a hundred songs in just the past two years. With a dedicated fan-base that spans Asia, Europe, and the Americas, LMNO’s conscientious sound influences and characterizes our global music community. He has never shied away from his duties as an artist to speak his mind and record music that listeners react to intellectually, emotionally, and loyally.
